Special Report Transcripts for Section 6 of Episode 78
Time | Summary | | 54:36 | Before we go, news about the Truth Commission’s new register of reconciliation. From this coming week members of the public can go to the Truth Commission’s regional offices and sign a register that will be kept for generations to come. According to the Truth Commission the register will give South Africans the chance to express their regret at failing to prevent human rights violations and to demonstrate their commitment to reconciliation. If you’re interested go to your nearest Truth Commission office during office hours; there are offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and East London. If you have access to computer you can add your name to the register on the Truth Commission’s internet website. The Special Report team wishes you peaceful and relaxing days before we take on 1998. Goodbye. | Full Transcript | 55:24 | End credits | Full Transcript |
