Was burnt to death when her parents’ house was petrol bombed in Nyanga, Cape Town, on 9 November 1977, in the aftermath of the Soweto Uprising. The attack was allegedly carried out by school students, who considered Grace’s father to be a traitor because he was an Afrikaans teacher.
