Description
Was killed when two MK operatives detonated a bomb in a shopping centre on 23 December 1985, in Amanzimtoti, near Durban, in retaliation for a South African security forces attack two weeks earlier on ANC members in Lesotho in which nine people had been killed. The explosion in Amanzimtoti killed five people and injured 61. One of the operatives was sentenced to death and later hanged.
