Description
An SACP, MK and ANC leader who was shot dead in the driveway of his home in Dawnpark, Boksburg, Transvaal, on 10 April 1993. Political protests and conflict broke out in towns across the country following the assassination and funeral. The two perpetrators, a Polish far right-wing immigrant and a former member of the Conservative Party, were refused amnesty for the killing (AC/1999/0172).
