KUBHEKA, SabathaWas shot and injured in an arson attack by Inkatha supporters on his home in Madadeni, KwaZulu, near Newcastle, Natal, on 27 April 1986. He was extinguishing the flames when he and his brothers were shot. His mother died in hospital as a result of her injuries. Another brother, a NACTU member, was killed some months later by members of the KwaZulu Police. References

KUBHEKA, Themba Petros26An ANC supporter who was shot dead by IFP supporters in KwaMashu, Durban, on 11 May 1993. Four other ANC supporters were killed with him, including two returnees and a pregnant woman. Their bodies were found at a local school, and a local IFP induna was implicated in their killing.
