Was arrested and severely beaten by members of the Bophuthatswana Police members in Taung, Bophuthatswana, on 13 March 1992. The victim was arrested because he was wearing a T-shirt with a picture of Chief Mankuroane, who was in exile as a result of political differences with Chief Mangope.
