Was shot and injured by MK operatives in Meadowlands, Soweto, Johannesburg, on 29 January 1988. The perpetrators ambushed and fired at the police vehicle, injuring four persons. Two MK operatives applied for amnesty. One withdrew his application and the other was granted amnesty (AC/2000/134).
