Was shot dead by a named perpetrator at Mvutshini, near Port Shepstone, Natal, on 22 March 1994, when the car he was driving was ambushed during political conflict between ANC and IFP supporters in the area. His employer’s daughter was also killed, and her brother and father were injured in the attack.
