Was injured when MK operatives detonated an explosive in a car outside the South African Air Force (SAAF) headquarters in Church Street, Pretoria, on 20 May 1983. Reverend doctor Elliot Mbuyisa Khoza Mgojo was born at Mzimkulu on a farm in the Eastern Cape. He later became a school teacher in Natal which led him to become a preacher. That’s when he decided to leave education and join the world of ministry.
