An ANC supporter whose house in KwaMashu, Durban, was petrol bombed in April 1994 in intense conflict between IFP and ANC supporters during the run-up to the April 1994 elections. More than fifteen people died in KwaMashu over a two-week period. About three thousand residents were forced to flee their homes.
