KHOZA, Joseph Sirero

Description
Was severely beaten and his jaw was broken by members of the SAP at Protea police station, Soweto, Johannesburg, on 16 June 1976, the first day of the Soweto uprising. Mr Khoza was identified as a stone thrower and detained at the Fort Prison, Hillbrow, where he finally received medical treatment. He was released after intervention by an attorney.
