Was raped and shot dead in her home by IFP supporters in Sharpeville, Vereeniging, Transvaal, on 19 April 1992. The perpetrators raped three women and then killed seven people. The house was attacked because the Lefheidi family were ANC supporters. Ms Lefhiedi’s brother was an MK operative and had recently been killed by members of the SAP.
