MOSIMANYANA, (first name not given, child)Was detained with her mother for five days without food at the Mmabatho police station in Leeuwfontein, Tvl, during July 1989. There was fierce resistance at the time to the forceful incorporation of Leeuwfontein and Braklaagte into Bophuthatswana and a meeting held by the two communities was violently dispersed. Two policeman and two civilians died in the resulting conflict.References
