Mr Mabaso was detained without trial for three months. | References | MABASO, Castro Mandla | 19 | An ANC supporter who was shot dead when the vehicle in which he and nine other young men were travelling was ambushed at Diepdale, near Ermelo, Transvaal, on 30 September 1993. They were returning from a court appearance in connection with the killing of a local chief when they were attacked, allegedly by the chief`s son and other IFP supporters.
