A UDF supporter who was tortured in detention in 1983 and in June 1986 by members of the SAP in Tembisa, Transvaal, In June 1986, Mr Mabusela was arrested under emergency regulations while attempting to lay a charge against soldiers who allegedly accosted him for wearing a UDF badge.
