A UDF supporter who was assaulted and beaten with sjamboks, a wooden beam and a length of iron cable by members of the SAP in Sekhukhuneland, Lebowa, on 18 April 1986. Mr Mamaro was suspected of being a leader of `comrades` and of instigating necklacings.
