An ANC supporter who had his house burnt down by IFP supporters in Sonkombo, Ndwedwe, KwaZulu, near Durban, on 25 February 1994. About 20 deaths of victims from both the IFP and the ANC and at least twenty eight incidents of house burning were recorded that month. Hundreds of people were forced to flee the area, and schools and shops were forced to close.
