An ANC supporter who a chief and member of the Leandra Action Committee, was beaten to death and his body and his house were burnt by named vigilantes in Lebohang, Leandra, Transvaal, on 11 January 1986. Chief Mayisa supported a group of young `comrades` who sought refuge in his house on the day of his murder.
