An executive member of the South African National Civic Association and ANC member who was shot and injured in Vosloorus, Transvaal, on 1 June 1990 when a hand grenade was thrown into his house and unidentified gunmen opened fire on its occupants. Mr Maziya`s wife, his infant son, and his mother, were killed in the attack.
