Was severely injured when a booby-trapped grenade exploded in his hand in Duduza, Nigel, Transvaal, on 25 June 1985. Mr Mazuza was one of seven activists in the area recruited for supposed military training by a Vlakplaas askari and then killed or injured in this incident. The perpetrators have applied for amnesty.
