Description
An MK operative who was abducted by members of the Northern Transvaal Security Branch in September 1986 and taken to a farm in the Hammanskraal area, Transvaal. He was severely tortured and, after several days, taken to a spot near Phokeng, Bophuthatswana, where he was killed. His body was blown up using a landmine, to make it appear that he had blown himself up while laying the mine. Ten Northern Transvaal Security Branch operatives, including the divisional commander, applied for amnesty. Seven applications were granted and three refused (AC/2001/248).
