A BCM member who was arrested on 14 February 1975 and held at John Vorster Square, Johannesburg, where he was beaten and intimidated by named members of the Security Branch to try and force him to testify against Trevor Bloem, charged under the Terrorism and Suppression of Communism Acts. Mr Mcgluwa and another were suspected of being co-conspirators in attempting to discourage participation in the CRC and were sentenced to a year`s imprisonment for refusing to testify.
