A UDF supporter who was shot with birdshot and injured by named members of the SAP when a student demonstration passed his home in Colesberg, Cape, on 22 July 1985. Reverend Mcoyana was detained under Article 50 of the Internal Security Act on 24 July 1985. He was acquitted of all charges by the Supreme Court, Eastern Cape.
