Was shot and killed when a large group of ANC self-defence unit (SDU) members stormed her home and opened fire on its occupants in Tokoza, Transvaal, during 1993. The family was believed to be supportive of the IFP. Another person was killed in the attack. One SDU member was granted amnesty (AC/1999/0243).
