A sergeant in the Soweto East Security Branch who was injured when MK operatives from the `Dolphin Unit` detonated a limpet mine at the Security Branch offices in Roodepoort, Transvaal, on 17 August 1984. Four other members of the Security Branch and several civilians were also injured. Two MK operatives were granted amnesty (AC/2001/0003).
