Was shot dead by named IFP supporters in Estcourt, Natal, on 2 April 1994, allegedly because he refused to join the IFP. He and his mother had fled their home when it was petrol-bombed earlier that day, but the perpetrators pursued them into the church where they had sought refuge, and killed both.
