An ANC activist who was arrested on 17 June 1986 and taken to Lebeleng municipal office in Makwassie, Tvl, where he was severely beaten by a named perpetrator for toyi-toying with friends in commemoration of the 1976 Soweto uprising. He was charged with public violence and received a five-year suspended sentence.
