Was severely assaulted by named SAP members who arrested him at his home during a student boycott in Mamafubedu, Petrus Steyn, OFS, in April 1993. Police conducted house-to-house raids during the boycott, arresting and assaulting people at random. Three other family members were severely beaten and arrested on the same occasion.
