An ANC supporter who was shot and injured by members of the SAP in Masilo, Theunissen, OFS, on 20 May 1990. Mr Monokoane was part of a community self-defence unit (SDU) that had come together for protection against an expected attack by a vigilante group. One person was killed and one other was injured when police opened fire on the group.
