An ANC supporter who was taken to the home of a prominent Inkatha supporter at Lindelani, near KwaMashu, Durban, in 1989, where he was tortured and held overnight, allegedly because he was suspected of being an ANC or UDF supporter. Mr Msani`s two brothers were both killed in the course of political conflict in the area.
