Was injured when the bus she was travelling in was petrol-bombed by an UWUSA on 28 September 1992 in Ratanda, near Heidelberg, Transvaal, during a labour dispute between striking COSATU-aligned FAWU workers and non-striking IFP-aligned UWUSA which caused violent conflict from July to December 1992.
