NDLOVU, Mandlenkosi26An ANC supporter who was abducted, stabbed and shot dead by Inkatha supporters at Maqongqo, Table Mountain, near Pietermaritzburg, on 5 April 1990. Parents had sent their children to a place of safety outside the area because of political violence. Seven young people were returning home for a visit when they were attacked by Inkatha supporters. One youth survived; the other six were killed in the attack. Police allegedly did not investigate the case. References
