Fourteen people were killed and at least 120 homes burnt down. One former IFP member was granted amnesty (AC/1999/0332). | References | | NDLOVU, Jerome Dingizwe | | A local chief and member of the KwaZulu Legislative Assembly who was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Ixopo, Natal, on 16 August 1991 in continuing conflict between ANC and IFP supporters in the area. Sixteen people were killed and ten were injured in the attack. One SDU member was granted amnesty for the attack (AC/1999/00225).
