An ANC supporter who had her house in Umlazi, Durban, burnt down by named members of the KwaZulu Police on 22 September 1991 in an attack allegedly directed against her son. Three family members were severely injured in the attack. One died a few days later from smoke inhalation. The family was forced to flee the area.
