Was burnt to death when her house was set alight by Inkatha supporters during intensifying political conflict at KwaMakhutha, Amanzimtoti, near Durban, in January 1986. She and her husband, who was also burnt to death in the attack, were associated with ‘AmaMpondo’, who were identified with the ANC.
