Was shot when masked gunmen entered the family home in Vosloorus, Tvl, on 12 October 1991 and opened fire. Three family members were killed and eight people were wounded in the attack, which occurred during a period of conflict between IFP-supporting hostel-dwellers and mainly ANC- supporting residents.
