An ANC underground activist who was tortured in detention between November 1981 and January 1989, at various police stations and prisons in the Cape and Ciskei. She was arrested by members of the Security Branch on her way into exile in Lesotho and charged under the Terrorism Act allegedly because she refused to give information on ‘comrades’ in return for money.
