Description
A PAC supporter who was detained and severely beaten by police in Paarl, Cape, on 22 November 1962, after the Poqo clash with police and Paarl residents in which seven people died. After seven months in custody he was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment on Robben Island. He was then banished to the Transkei for two years. He lost his home in an attack in 1976 in Crossroads, Cape Town.
