SIBIYA, (first name not given)Was shot dead on 21 November 1990 when members of the SAP opened fire on community members marching from Mhluzi to Middelburg police station, Tvl, to protest against the harassment of scholars by the SAP. Five people were killed and more than eight injured. References
SIBIYA, AmosWas shot and injured by an MK operative and an ANC member in Mankwanyaneni Reserve, Empangeni, Natal, on 3 May 1994. One other person was killed in the attack. The attackers had allegedly been given a hit list by a local ANC leader during political conflict between the IFP and the ANC. One MK operative and one ANC member were granted amnesty (AC/2000/004). SIBIYA, Auzius Samuel22Was severely burnt on 6 June 1988 when a petrol-bomb exploded on the bus in which he was travelling in Matshana, KwaZulu, near Empangeni, Natal. COSATU members were allegedly responsible for the explosion, which occurred during a national stayaway. One person was killed and five others injured in the explosion. References
