Description
A PAC supporter who was a participant in a Poqo march to storm the police station and prison in Paarl, Cape, on 21 November 1962. Five marchers were shot dead and two Paarl residents were killed by Poqo supporters. Mr Sakanla was convicted of sabotage and sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment on Robben Island.
