An ANC supporter who was burnt to death when Inkatha supporters petrol-bombed her home in Nhlalakahle, Greytown, Natal, on 11 June 1990. She was six months pregnant at the time. Ms Shangase’s three brothers, all ANC supporters, were killed in political conflict in the area at different times between 1987 and 1993.
