Description
A UDF activist and SRC member who was arrested and tortured by being burnt, electrocuted, beaten and hung upside down from a tree for several hours on 29 August 1985 in Worcester, Cape, while being interrogated about a stone-throwing incident by named members of the SAP and Security Branch. He was redetained in March 1986 during a school boycott and held under section 29 for many months.
