Four perpetrators were granted amnesty (AC/1999/0332). | References | TALJAARD, Louis Johannes Albertus | 64 | Was severely injured when a bomb, planted by AWB members, exploded at a taxi rank on the corner of Odendaal and Victoria Streets in Germiston, Tvl, on the 25 April 1994. Ten persons were killed and nine were injured in the blast. Four perpetrators were granted amnesty (AC/1999/0342). He was held for several months at the police station and in Burgersdorp, during which he was assaulted and kept in solitary confinement. In 1986 he was again detained for a year at Middelburg, Cape, and tortured.
