An ANC underground member who was severely assaulted by members of the Transkei Police at his home in Libode, Transkei, on 22 September 1985. He was interrogated about the whereabouts of his cousin, an MK operative. He was then detained in Umtata, Transkei, until 12 January 1986 and again from January 1988 to October 1989.
