Description
Was arrested in Zambia by ANC security in 1988 shortly after going into exile. He was severely beaten and tortured. After eight months, he was transferred to a camp in Angola. During his incarceration, he was allegedly shot and injured. He subsequently appeared before a tribunal in Tanzania where he was cleared of charges that he was a spy.
