A PAC supporter who was detained in Mqanduli, Transkei, during 1962 for attending an unlawful Poqo meeting. She was convicted on political charges and sentenced to two years’ imprisonment. Her baby was born in prison without medical supervision. Five months later she was released and placed under house arrest for five years.
