A COSAS activist who was killed after being shot in the head by a named SAP member while he was participating in a student meeting at Thamsanqa High School, KwaZakele, Port Elizabeth, during 1984. His parents were only informed about his death three weeks later. The magistrate found that the perpetrator was acting in self-defence.
