Ms Zimu was shot four times, allegedly by Zulu-speaking IFP supporters. Ms Zimu’s husband was shot dead and two of her tenants were shot and injured during this incident. Her house was also set alight and damaged. While Ms Zimu was in hospital her possessions were looted from her home.
