Her house was destroyed by supporters of Chief Mahlangu in Goederede near Dennilton, KwaNdebele, in July 1975. Chief Mahlangu supported the proposed incorporation of Goederede into Lebowa, but many residents resisted incorporation. See Incorporation of Goederede into Lebowa.
