An Inkatha-aligned Qonda self-protection unit member who was shot dead by members of an Inkatha faction within Qonda at Mpumalanga, KwaZulu, near Durban, on 18 October 1989. Mr Ziqubu was allegedly targeted because he had been seen taking injured UDF supporters to hospital. See self-protection units (SPU).
